Teaching content:
• fundamentals of energy system modeling and numerics
• parametrization of commercially available models
for PV-Systems and biomass heating systems (Polysun)
• fundamentals/introduction into Matlab and Simulink
• modeling and simulation of electrical and/or thermal and/or
hydropower systems including energy storage

Learning objectives/ qualification objectives:
• Gain basic energy system modeling skills based on examples targeting the use
of renewable energy, gain experience in the use of matlab-simulink.
• Improve English proficiency.
